Songs ~ Jaago Zara
I Vote for Music
I Vote for Expression
I Vote for Freedom
I Vote for Peace
I Vote.
Jaago Zara
This is a vibrant song which urges people to stand up and take a step towards change.
Starting out as an attempt at writing for a voting campaign, our attempt resulted in a song to which the youth of today can relate.
As usual, Muneem came up with the lyrics and two chords. He then sits with Hardik and Arjun outside the eating joint where H61 first met.
Hardik adds two more chords and a melody is created within half an hour!
Everyone drops in at Anant’s place that evening, Jatin creates a solo in 10 mins, Arjun adds the rhythm and Rahul the backing vocals – and there, we had a new song !
A short song with a valuable message – Take a stand, Make a choice, Vote! Not just for a political party or the government or because it’s your duty, but vote for the things you love, value and cherish!

I have seen the dawn rise, I’ve felt my dreams high, It was then that I realized, now is the time…. - Inspiration, Highway 61
Inspiration
As we go out there in the quest, passing through the doors of what we have dreamed of, we experience emotions which we cannot describe to any other person.
Without that feeling, we feel nothing.
We oscillate between the sorrows and the joys, that which we get from our day to day lives.
The journey remains in finding the one thing that creates the perfect balance of both.
For at times there are people who tell you what to do and what not to do.
It is the seeker of silence who is the one who chooses to live with his dreams not knowing what that silence is.

If a composer could say what he had to say in words he would not bother trying to say it in music. ~Gustav Mahler

The stars were lit like never before; the dew on the grass was pure like never before, the sky was letting the moon shine, like it was the only night.
The wind was whispering into trees that it would take them to the skies.
Never would he have seen any other beautiful night than this one.
Captivated by what his senses received, the beauty that was around him sang him his song.
The description of that night is reflected in the verses, of the song.
This song was written around mid night in the meadows of “Yusmarg” in Kashmir.

Titlee
Ever wondered if time would stop over a rainbow?
A butterfly! Like its many colors, this song has many perceptions. The band relates to the one that says,” though you’ve gone, I’m not alone. I’m happy & I’ve moved on”
“This song was composed over a period of seven months because of the required perfection in lyrics coupled with a preconceived composition”
Struck by the brilliance of an acoustic composition, we decided to maintain its beauty in this simplicity. In between every two notes is a mystic expression felt in the song. This expression is one that carries a message of self-actualization, of an introspective confidence – felt within a person. The song urges people to discover a place in which their memories remain pristine and safe.
The colors would become immortal.
